Johnny started tattooing in 2002, and creating art most of his life. Over this time, he has developed his own distinct style. Focusing on natural subjects with a supernatural flare. A lifelong interest in the natural world, the cosmos, history, and the imaginative worlds of science fiction and fantasy, are reflected in his pieces.

Johnny, his wife and critters call Ferndale home. He has been tattooing in the area since 2007, gaining a large following. Currently he practices his craft at his studio, Dark Sky Tattoo.
