Hi! I’m Gigs. I am 32 years old, I live in Channahon, IL with my wife, Summer, our daughter, Theodora, and our two long-haired dachshunds, Sadie and Sylvie. I have been tattooing professionally since July of 2019.

I was born and raised in Illinois and from as young as 2 years old I began pursuing artistic endeavors in some form or another. That is to say, my parents tell me that when I was 2, I drew all over the walls of their first apartment with crayons, so I like to think my love for art started there.

That love for art continued to evolve as time went on. Naturally progressing beyond doodling in my gradeschool notebooks, I found a true passion for drawing in the style of realism during my high school and college years.

Life eventually led me into tattooing and from the onset I knew I wanted to continue my love of realism in this new medium and make it my specialty. It challenged me and proved to be the most complex medium I’ve ever worked in thus far, but also the most gratifying. I truly love tattooing, and I love the opportunity to create beautiful, unique works of art for each one of my clients.

I am meticulous in my execution and thorough in my attention to fine details and texture, and I strive to bring that detail out in every tattoo I do. I enjoy working with high contrast imagery that is both visually and compositionally striking, and particularly enjoy themes like high-fantasy, science-fiction, horror, mythology, and ancient history.
